1. Nature of Auspex
Auspex Institute is a non-profit OSINT & Cyber Intelligence research collective. All content on auspex.institute — strategic assessments, blog posts, situation-room data — is published for educational and analytical purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, military, or intelligence advice.
2. Sources & accuracy
Auspex aggregates data from public sources (ACLED, GDELT, UN OCHA, CISA KEV, Bellingcat, Al Jazeera, BBC, NASA FIRMS, and others). While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty on the correctness or completeness of the data. Use at your own risk.
3. Acceptable use
- You will not use Auspex to plan or perpetrate any illegal activity.
- You will not attempt to breach the platform's security, reverse-engineer authenticated APIs, or scrape at scale.
- You will not impersonate other users or misrepresent your affiliation.
4. Analyst content licensing
Contributors (analysts and guest authors) retain copyright of their submissions but grant Auspex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, translate, and syndicate the work. Attribution is always preserved.
5. Paid tiers & donations
Premium and Praetorium subscriptions unlock reserved assessments and briefings. Subscriptions are handled via Stripe; donations are voluntary contributions supporting the non-profit's operations. Refund policy: 14 days from purchase, no questions asked.
6. Limitation of liability
Auspex Institute, its directors, employees, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, up to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Termination does not entitle to refund of the residual subscription period.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where Auspex Institute has its registered seat. Disputes shall be resolved before the courts of that jurisdiction.
